About ECHO

The thinking behind ECHO

Why ECHO exists

There can be a gap between completing training and developing competence in practice. Knowing the theory matters, but applying it to an individual patient requires judgement, experience and an understanding of your own limits.

I created ECHO to help practitioners bridge that gap.

It is the platform I wish I’d had when I entered aesthetics, and the support I have continued to value as my practice has grown.

Understanding the reasoning

My aim is to help you understand why a treatment may be appropriate, how it interacts with the skin and what should influence your decisions.

That includes recognising when to adapt a plan, seek advice or decide that treatment should not go ahead. Understanding the reasoning gives you something to draw on when a patient’s needs differ from the examples you encountered during training.

Science connected with practice

ECHO brings scientific principles together with clinical reasoning and lessons from real practice.

Clinical experience gives context to the evidence. It also raises questions. Throughout the learning, I want to make space for both: what we understand, where uncertainty remains and how that affects the decisions we make.

Room to ask questions

Moving into aesthetics or independent practice can feel isolating. You may leave training with questions you did not know to ask at the time, or encounter something unfamiliar months later.

I want ECHO to be a place where you can ask those questions openly. My approach is supportive and straightforward, with honest discussion about your learning needs and the next steps that may help.

Development continues

An online course can strengthen your knowledge and clinical reasoning. Practical competence also requires appropriate hands-on learning, assessment and experience.

ECHO supports that continuing development through education, bespoke one-to-one training and mentoring. The purpose is to help you build understanding that you can apply thoughtfully throughout your career.
