Policies

ECHO policies are published under version control. Learners accept the specific version in force at the time, and that acceptance is recorded with the date and time.

Documents planned for publication

  • Learner agreement
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Accessibility statement
  • Complaints procedure
  • Academic integrity and malpractice
  • Appeals process
  • Reasonable adjustments
  • Data retention information
  • Clinical safety and scope of practice

How versioning works

Each policy is stored as a series of versions. When a policy is revised, the previous version is retained rather than replaced, so it is always possible to establish which wording a learner accepted and when. Revising one document does not force learners to re-accept unrelated documents.
