What you are assessed on
Functional anatomy, prescribing governance, patient selection, safe administration, clinical reasoning, complication recognition and follow-up.
Worth knowing
Clinical focus is foundation upper-face assessment and treatment, including the glabella, frontalis and lateral orbicularis oculi, subject to patient suitability and your authorised scope.
The day distinguishes the legal authority to prescribe from competence to administer.
The products you train with
Practical injectable training at ECHO uses established, UK-available brands, so what you learn transfers straight into your own clinic.

Botulinum toxin training with Nuceiva by Evolus
- You train hands-on with Nuceiva (prabotulinumtoxinA), the toxin used in clinic every day, so you learn the reconstitution and handling of a product you can go on to buy.
- With your consent, your details are shared with Evolus after the course so their team can help you open your own account.
Brand names and logos belong to their owners. ECHO is an independent training provider and these companies do not award or endorse ECHO certificates.
Arrangements for every programme
- Training takes place at the Scotter premises, using the dedicated ECHO teaching room and the clinical treatment room.
- Learner arrival is 10:00am. Half days finish at 1:30pm and full days at 5:00pm.
- Theory and eligibility checks are completed before practical attendance.
- Every session is one-to-one, with direct supervision, documented assessment and individual feedback.
- Models are pre-screened for medical suitability, treatment expectations and consent before the training day. Every botulinum toxin model also needs a face-to-face prescribing consultation on the day.
- Model appointments are teaching allocations, not guaranteed treatment completion times. Safety, patient suitability and complications take precedence over the timetable.
- Competence is documented separately from attendance, using procedure-specific observation checklists, feedback and a development plan. Further supervised practice may be required before competence can be confirmed.
You can pay a 50% deposit or the full fee; the balance is due 14 days before your session. Cancellation and rescheduling follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Models pay a separate treatment charge — see model prices and terms.
